THOR: RAGNAROK Hammers Its Way To Another Top Finish; Passes $650M WW To Become Highest-Grossing Thor Film

As expected, Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok is once again the #1 film in the world and has now surpassed $650 million worldwide to become the highest-grossing Thor film ever! Come take a look!

For the second weekend in a row, Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok is the #1 movie in the world!

The Chris Hemsworth-led blockbuster has earned over $56.6 million in its second frame, bringing its domestic cume to approximately $211.6 million, which makes it the ninth-highest grossing film of the year domestically. Internationally, Ragnarok continues to hold incredibly strong, bringing in another $75.9 million this weekend and surpassing the foreign collections of both Warner Bros.' Wonder Woman ($409.2M) and 20th Century Fox's Logan ($390.5M).

Overall, the critically acclaimed Taika Waititi-directed film has grossed a little over $650.1 million worldwide ($211.6M domestic, $438.5M foreign), which now makes it the highest-grossing Thor movie in the entire franchise and the tenth-highest grossing film in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. It now sets it sights on overtaking Doctor Strange ($677.7M) and Captain America: The Winter Soldier ($714.3M).

With Justice League incoming, it's a little uncertain how high Thor: Ragnarok will ultimately fly, but, on its current trajectory, an $800M-$850 million finish is certainly not out of the realm of possibility. Also, outside of that one DC adventure, which will likely face its own uphill battle at the box office, there isn't much competition until mid-December when Lucasfilm's Star Wars: The Last Jedi makes its grand debut.

So, what do you guys think? Sound off with your thoughts below!

In Marvel Studios' "Thor: Ragnarok," Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok - the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization - at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger - the Incredible Hulk!

I’m glad to see Hulk doing well in the box office in his first film in his trilogy with people like Thor, Avengers, Spider-Man, & Thanos being supporting characters for the jolly green giant

Not bad for THOR RAGNAROK
$650 millions worldwide is more than LOGAN but still is the 4th CBM of 2017 under...

#1 Spider-Man Homecoming
#2 Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2
#3 Wonder Woman

...and next week opens JUSTICE LEAGUE

Could THOR stand the fight?

and next week is the 4th one

I think that THOR RAGNAROK never reach WONDER WOMAN and JUSTICE LEAGUE is fighting for the pole position with Spider-Man Homecoming.

THOR will end the race on the 5th position
