Supporting a previous report that uncovered details from today’s continuation of filming for Thor: The Dark World in London, England, set photos and videos have now surfaced online. While not revealing much, they do display the locations that’ll showcase London “in a major way” at some point during the sequel. And more importantly, the videos, which were recorded from the Royal Naval College set at Greenwich, showcase a number of Londoners “running from (CG added) spaceships.” With no stars of the Alan Taylor-directed sequel in sight, check out videos!

Special thanks to CBM's @Nailbiter for the heads up!

UPDATE: UK photographer Vickie Flores has provided great closeup photos from the shoot, via Greenwich.co.uk

Marvel Studios’ “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo & Anthony Hopkins as Odin, “Thor: The Dark World” is directed by Alan Taylor, produced by Kevin Feige, from a story by Don Payne (credit not final) and screenplay by Christopher Yost and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (credit not final) and is based on Marvel’s classic Super Hero Thor, who first appeared in the comic book “Journey into Mystery” #83 in August, 1962. “Thor: The Dark World” is presented by Marvel Studios. The executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Victoria Alonso, Craig Kyle and Nigel Gostelow. The film releases November 8, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

In addition to “Thor: The Dark World”, Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on more iconic Marvel characters including “Iron Man 3” on May 3, 2013; “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on April 4, 2014; “Marvel's The Avengers” sequel (title TBA) on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

Great videos, Freshman! I like watching set videos and then comparing them to the finished movie. Some of those extras were really flying. Wonder if the casting call specified that they had to be able to run a hundred yards in decent time.

Hey, I'm currently in Greenwich, just walked round the Maritime area. There seems to be nothing at all! Maybe they are back later. All I saw was some university graduations...

Even though its Greenwich some of those shots could be mistaken for Whitehall, so I am wondering if the UK government gets attacked.
