Marvel Studios’ “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo & Anthony Hopkins as Odin, “Thor: The Dark World” is directed by Alan Taylor, produced by Kevin Feige, from a story by Don Payne and screenplay by Christopher Yost and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on Marvel’s classic Super Hero Thor, who first appeared in the comic book “Journey into Mystery” #83 in August, 1962. “Thor: The Dark World” is presented by Marvel Studios. The executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Victoria Alonso, Craig Kyle and Nigel Gostelow. The film releases November 8, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios.

I really want to be excited for this but I'm just not feeling it for some reason. Does look much better than the first one though.

I'll buy Iron Man 3. Good movie but too much humor. First Thor movie was great but this looks leagues better. I am looking forward to Captain America: The Winter Soldier to be the best of Phase Two outside of The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

@Jollem

Why do you always have to bring up MOS on Thor: The Dark World articles???

@Jollem

Aren't you the one who said Thor was having re-shoots because Alan Taylor saw what Zack Snyder had done in MOS??

@Omarvls :Because the women executives at Marvel said Hemsworth's too goddamn good-looking to wear a helmet.

Man, Chris's probably going to destroy the box-office come November, meanwhile Liam's Paranoia is flopping like Anderson Varejao. Liam should ask Thor to pass some of that hair product.

Oh not at all but saying some shit like that on a Thor article is trolling.What's annoying is when you think that Alan Taylor and Marvel were doing reshoots to try to make their action sequences comparable to those in MOS.lol xD

Alan Taylor has better things to do than to try to top action sequences from Zack Snyder.I trust Alan Taylor to bring it out right. Not too much just God Power and special effects. We have too much movies already with nothing but effects. I want real story with real characters, not just a Movie whose only purpose is to PRESENT HOW POWERFUL A SUPERHERO IS (cough*MOS*cough), just to convince Comicbook fans!

I could almost understand if the helmet obscured his face a lot or looked ridiculous. But it really worked for the brief moment we saw it on him. And if Hiddleston could rock that crazy scaled Loki Helmet why can't Hemsworth rock Thor's. It's a minor gripe though more wishful thinking than anything else. I'm still super pumped to see this hurry up November.

Odin's ravens.

They can be seen in Avengers too. In the scene where Thor interrogates Loki on the mountaintop, before the "battle" against Iron Man,

Eh I'm not the one who goes on the majority of Marvel articles trolling about IM3 or bringing up MOS on Thor articles. It becomes annoying, we know you're a butthurt fan but please leave us Marvel fans in peace, thank you.

This was one of your recent trolling on a Thor article -_-

It's not like the helmet looks dorky. Looks badass, and would look awesome on Thor. Anyway this movie looks like it is going to be the first quality movie from Marvel.
