Anticipated in the US and praised overseas, Marvel & Kenneth Branagh's Thor film has been described "solidly entertaining". And with that said, tons of new footage has been outed lately, and here lies a new Tv spot, courtesy of CBM's Zarina_Romanoff, showing even more. With a chilling voice-over from Laufey, king of the Frost Giants, check it out below.

Thor spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth. And Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, and Tom Hiddleston, the film releases May 6!

After seeing this, I literally called my friend (who's also a Marvel zombie) and told him that we have no [frick]ing idea what's coming this Saturday. I've worried that I might have seen/known too much. This new footage put my fears to rest.

Best Marvel movie so far. Trumps Iron Man 1 easily. It must suck being in the US and not being able to see it yet. Im lucky to be an Aussie and see our own Chris Hemsworth rip it up in the cinemas already.

Trust me guys, it wont disappoint.

JUST SAW IT in 3D!!!! Awesome movie, best Marvel movie so far, and one of the best CBM ever (it´s better than Spidey 2, but no TDK). Fear nothing, this movie will not dissapoint. ¿Anyone want Avengers spoilers?

Tonight I went so see Thor in 3D, reading all the reviews make me saw this movie so bad, I’m a big fan of superhero movies, not a fan of Thor, but to me it was a great introduction of the character. First my top Superhero movies are……in no particular order are…The Dark Knight (11)…..X men 2 (9) and…..Superman Returns.. he he I’m kidding….Batman Returns (10) and Iron Man (10.5). The worst X men 3, because it destroys what Bryan Singer made. My overall score of Thor is 8.5…Why?.. It was a really enjoyable movie and the manage to put all this characters and give them a purpose in this film, thing that any X men movie did, also they did a great job dividing the time between Asgarg and Earth. What things I didn’t like
1. I felt some action sequences were filmed very fast.
2. The whole king Arthur scheme.
3. This movie should be at least 2.5 hours.
Great designs, Great character interaction, excellent hints of other avengers and the final scene (at the end of all credits)…Great…..any questions?

Otcet- TRUE about the speed of some action sequences. It was as if you couldn´t follow some sh-t with your eyes. Maybe it was a 3d thing, don´t know.

It's not the speed of the action sequences it's the 3D, because I know several people that said the action was much easier to follow in 2D

BigThor-Ok, too bad about the speed. Other stuff: The Hawkeye cameo was lame, IMO. I don´t want to spoil it, but it basically makes no sense and it doesn´t add anything for the movie. NOTHING. The tone was perfect throughout the movie, and people laughed when they were supposed to.
