The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime "Transformers" character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.




Starring Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Alan Tudyk, Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey and John Malkovich, Transformers: Dark of the Moon is set to be released on July 1, later this year!

Is he a Car Jet thing? Kinda cool, I'm digging the wings, but i feel like he looks ... his body looks too 'new' or 'young' for his older face.

Looking good. The Transformers series could go on, without a reboot, after Michael Bay moves on.

Brad Bird could take over for Transformers 4, 5 and 6.

and i do not hate everything.. there's just very few GREAT comic book movies.. you will see that i've said good things about Thor, Captain american, the dark knight rises, green lantern etc... just a lot of this other stuff looks like pure shit,
im expressing my opinion sue me.. isnt that what leaving comments is for? not everyone has to like this...

transformers = alright movie

In the Marvel Transformers comics, he overthrew Megatron as leader of the Decepticons.

He has one eye, and he looks like Kosh, the Vorlon.

So Shockwave is a Vorlon.

@krook, what are you talking about? Michael Bay is worth hating, TGDBM had Bay's directing formula down.
Transformers - ok, seemed better because we got to see 'live action' versions of the robots.
Transformers: ROTF - the first movie that I actually fell asleep watching in the cinema, pure shit. Although I loved Jetfire... then they killed him, which meant my reason for watching was gone, so I went back to sleep.
Transformers 3 better be good, I'll reserve judgement til I watch it, and I'll watch it cos I'm a Transformers fan, not for Michael Bay. And Megan Fox isn't in it, which is a plus, can't stand her so maybe that alone will make it better. I hope Bay doesn't continue to direct these, J.J Abrams would be phenomenal if he could balance this and Star Trek.

@baheehan76 YES! I loved Beast Wars, it was the first Transformers show I watched when I was younger! The cheetah was my face character, only one whose name I remember was Optimus Primal.
