Bumblebee's New Design On TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION Clapperboard

An image has surfaced online of a robot holding a shield, on a Transformers: Age of Extinction clapperboard. It resembles the new design of Bumblebee, as recently seen in licensing artwork.

Starring in "Transformers 4" is Jack Reynor in the starring role of a race car driver. The talented and beautiful Nicola Peltz has been cast in the female lead role of Reynor's girlfriend. Mark Wahlberg has signed on to play Nicola's father Flynn Vincent. Sophia Myles will play a major role as a scientist. Peter Cullen returns as the voice of Optimus Prime, and Glenn Morshower reprises his role as General Morshower. Kelsey Grammer was recently cast as the lead villain named "Harold Attinger". Directors Guild of America DGA Award winner Michael Bay will return to direct his fourth installment of the film series from a screenplay written by Ehren Kruger.


TRANSFORMERS 4 will be directed by Michael Bay, from a script written by Ehren Kruger. The cast includes: Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammar, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci and Jack Reynor. Set for release on June 27th, 2014!

I really hope they give Bumblebee an actual voice this time. I was fed up with the radio thing halfway through the first movie.

They look more alienated. The designing is a bit more closer to how Megatrons designing was in the first Transformers film. Looks good to me. I've also noticed that they all have shields this go around too. I think Optimus had a shield in DoTM. Seems like they're going for a more battle tone this go around.

Yeah, that just plain sucks. I just want him to have an actual voice in this movie. I'm so sick of him being treated like some sort of pet. He's become the token "dog" in these movies.

^^Agreed!!! Bumblebee looks like a mix between megatron and a tribal tattoo....

His voice sucks, his design sucks, for the most part, these movies suck...sad, because the first one was pretty good...

Do love some mark wahlberg though, he's a really nice guy..

Gave his SHOES to a friend of mine once! Class act!

wtf that's not Bumblebee, that's Cheetor...

if they don't give him a voice in this movie, I'm gonna be real angry. Bee's transformers prime version was given his voice back in the finale (f-ed up because the transformers in prime are mostly based off their likenesses from the live-action movies) so it's time Bee gets his voice back. He should've never lost it in the first place TBH.

I think people are forgetting that the transformers all looked like this in the first film before they chose a car to look like. If you look at when they come down to Earth, you'll notice they look very similar to the "new" Bumblebee.
