The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime "Transformers" character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.

I love how they're just saying "Transformers" because to say "Dark of the Moon" is stupid when you say it in any voice

1st transformers- awesomely awesome. with a side of large awesome
2nd transformers- shitload of metal fighting but i cant tell which is which, looks like a one giant scrapheap beating the shit out of itself. plus the old man transformer? shame on them. shame. why would a robot develop a beard? WHY?
3rd transformers- MIND BOMB. epically epic with a side of super size badassery.

anyone else notice that shia's acting looks better than ever in the trailers? his 'where is she' thing is like oscar anger

@cretevonvas - These are the G1 Transformers, there was just no way in hell Hasbro or any movie studio were going to make this stuff look like 1980's toys, cartoons or comic renditions no matter how die hard an extremely small bunch of so called "G1" fans thought it was the only way to go for the sake of their childhood memories.

The reality those fans are not facing is the fact that THIS incarnation of Transformers has captured more fans than any other in history over the last five years. For the generations that grew up with this as a regular box office must, THIS IS TRANSFORMERS.

Personally I'm with them, I grew up with the 80's cartoon even though I was in my late teens when it first came out and looking at that stuff today is just cheesy and smacks of it's time. Who wants robots that turn into handguns, 35mm Cameras, microscopes, a steam locomotive or audio-tape cassette recorders? You guys really gotta let go of the 80's and your childhood!
