Deadline is reporting that Transformers 6 which will serve as solo vehicle (no pun intended) for Bumblebee will be written by newcomer Christina Hodson, who was previously announced to be part of the Transformers writing team alongside the writers of Transformers: The Last Knight, Art Marcum & Matt Holloway (Iron Man) and Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down). So far her writing credit consists of 2 movies, Shut In and next year Unforgettable, she's also due to write an untitled DC Extended Universe film. According to the article the people at Paramount are very proud of the script she's done for the Bumblebee solo movie, and since Michael Bay will not take the helm for the Bumblebee movie, its reported that Paramount will be the sending the script to the new directors they are in talks with very shortly.

Stay tuned for more news regarding the Bumblebee movie and future installments in the Transformers franchise. Transformers 6 is scheduled to be released on June 8, 2018.

I like this article, maybe not what the topic is about, but it's nice to see others participating instead of the usual people.

@DarthGrizzly - Indeed, the good thing of them doing an TF cinematic universe and putting movies every year instead of every 2 or 3 years means there will be TF movies with a different crew involved (maybe the same producers, but new writers and directors with each installment).

@eagc1995 - Yeah, but also, it's nice to someone else posting articles instead of the ones we always posting on this site. But for the TF franchise, just reboot it or end this current franchise. They probably wont because of the money they can get from it, so until the day everyone is sick of it, this franchise ain't going anywhere

Shut In, huh. I hear that film is...

I don't know. The shit cam out TODAY and there's no reviews.

I've learned from When the Bought Breaks and Max Steel, that's not a good sign.

Weird you didn't put the info that Hodson is writing a DCEU film, most likely Harley Quinn spinnoff.

@eagc1995 - You should make another article for the DC news only, pretty sure more people gonna comment there than on a Transformers movie.

Are the Transformers films still making bank? I never saw the last one and you have to think that eventually the GA is going to lose interest.

@TheManWithoutFear - They do, the last one made over billion dollars and is the only film of 2014 to make 1 billion.

so far interest is only fading in the USA, as each movie makes less in USA, but internationally they make alot of money with each movie, especially at China, as the franchise is very huge over there.

This is prob gonna be a prequel when he was doing his thing back on cybertron but it would be cool if cybertron is restored by the end of tf 5 and bumblebee decideds to go back and see what he's up to in tf6 after that
