Dan Harmon is well known as the co-creator of Rick and Morty and the voice of Bird-Person (Phoenix-Person?), but he previously received a cult following for his touching NBC comedy show, Community.

Harmon often likes to bring his Community actors over and offer them voice work on his succesful Adult Swim show, and so far fans have enjoyed seing the inclusion of Gillian Jacobs as Supernova, Joel McHale as Hemorrage, and Jim Rash as an intergalactic marriage counselor in the series. Beyond that, there is also the (Comm) Unity episodein which animated counterparts of the misfit study group appear on screen and even interact with Rick Sanchez.

The actress who played Shirley, Yvette Nicole Brown, recently spoke with Coming Soon and praised Rick and Morty's success while expressing her hope that she can get a role in the series. Check out what she had to say about nagging a potential role in Rick and Morty with her comments below.

“I hit up Dan Harmon more often to get a role on Rick and Morty. That’s where the money is, Rick and Morty is going to last forever. I don’t even care who I play, I could be the black woman in the corner saying, ‘Hi, hi.’ I don’t care what it is, I just want to do a voice on there."

In addition, the actress also discusses the possibility of a Community revival, and by the sounds of it she seems more than certain that it is inevitable.

"I know that Dan’s going to write the Community movie someday and when he does, we’re all going to show up, whenever it is, we’re ready to do it just like you guys are ready for it.”

What do you guys think? Would you like to see Yvette Nicole Brown show feature her voice talents in an episode of Rick and Morty? Or are you more excited for a Community reunion?
