An update on Invincible's second season will be made available before the end of this month (January 2023), according to a tweet that was posted on the official Invincible Twitter account, which stated, "So... this is the last month we won't have a Season 2 update for you."

This news comes after Amazon's Head of Television, Vernon Sanders, gave an interview in late 2022 in which he stated that Invincible Season 2 was on the platform's 2023 slate but was unable to specify a particular release time.

In September of 2022, voice actor Khary Payton confirmed that Season 3 was already in production, saying "we finished Season 2, we're on to Season 3," but cautioned that it was difficult to predict release dates due to the backlog of work at animation studios, adding "There was literally a line for the really great studios to just get this work out. So, I honestly can't tell you."

There is a also a possibility that other Invincible-related news will emerge in the near future, as a separate live-action movie project is reportedly still in the development stage.

The live-action adaptation of the comic book series was confirmed to be in the works by the show's creator, Robert Kirkland, before the premiere of the first season of the animated show. Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, who previously collaborated on the superhero project The Boys for Amazon Prime Video, are still attached to the project and will are set to write, direct, and produce it. The two originally made the announcement that they would be involved in the production of an Invincible movie back in 2017.

The first episode of the animated television serieswas released on Amazon Prime in March of 2021, and it was met with widespread acclaim from viewers and critics alike. Shortly after the conclusion of the first season, the show was given the go light for a second and third season. It is adapted from the comic book series of the same name that was written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley.

Invincible follows the story of Mark Grayson, voiced by The Walking Dead's Steven Yeun, as he learns to use his inherited powers to become a superhero. The first season of the show revolves around Mark discovering that he has powers, learning how to use them, and dealing with the challenges and responsibilities that come along with being a hero.

The show also explores the relationships between Mark and his family, including his father Omni-Man (voiced by J.K. Simmons), and the larger superhero community.

Invincible features an all-star voice cast including Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Gillian Jacobs, and many more. The show is known for its engaging storylines, well-developed characters, and action-packed animation.

The first season of Invincible is currently available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

I'd also like a release date for Attack on Titan, thank you very much.

Loved the comic, loved the show. Can't wait for season 2! The only criticism I had was the animation quality. I thought the style was fine, but it felt low budget so I hope they improve that a little, but I will surely enjoy it either way. I am also curious to see how they map out the season since the timeline in season 1 was different than the way the comics did it.
