At this years The Walking Dead panel At C2E2 a number of season 2 updates were handed out. Stars Jon Bernthal (Shane) and Laurie Holden (Andrea) attended.



•Stephen King may write an episode
•Principal photography begins on June 1st
•Charlie Sheen has expressed interest in becoming involved
•The season will consist of 13 episodes (7 more than season one)



•Shane gets a girl, and it won’t be Lori
•The new season will begin shortly after the CDC building explosion at the end of season one.
•Lori may be pregnant (not confirmed, but not ruled out)
•Main characters will die, new characters will appear (maybe played by Charlie Sheen?)



•Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln) will not die
•The cause of the zombie outbreak will never be known, ever
•The zombie outbreak is global

Nice info, but the Charlie Sheen rumor is pretty old, I´ve read about it several months ago, he was being considered to play a zombie(lol?), and then it was denied that it would happen.
I seriously doubt he would be on it after all that is happening with him recently.

i dont like all the changes they have made from the comics. i guess thats why i only like the first couple episodes. towards the end it got boring.

im just glad to hear the're not saying how the zombie appokolipse got started. thats not that the story is about at all. i hate hearing people demanding an explanation. the comic/show is about surviving as long as they can, the're not going to win in the end. thank you for not ruining that. the cdc episode was too far even.

This panel was so awful. I had to leave within the first 15 minutes. I think Jon Bernthal was on something.

I missed this panel and was kind of upset about it I was at the Fear Itself panel. Now that I heard it was horrible I really don't feel bad. BTW best panel this year had to be Mark Sheppard. That guy is frakin sweet and it was fun to hang out and drink with him the night before. :)
