The first season of the TV show, based on Robert Kirkman's comic book series, is heading to the small screen on AMC this October. However, British website Digital Spy have noticed something interesting on the network's site that seems to indicate a second season has already been commissioned before we've even seen the first!

The site is advertising a competition to win "the opportunity to become one of the undead and land a walk-on part in a Season 2 episode." The site also goes on to explain that, "...specifics of the walk-on role will be determined at the producer’s sole discretion". The prize also includes a four-day, three-night trip to the location of The Walking Dead's Season 2 production.

Lol, this "Pfister" thing is really taking off! Nice work tea! :D

And I completely agree with you AverageCitizen! I was already looking forward to this show but the fact they're already planning a second season makes me think that it's going to be worth sticking with! It's just a pity that there's only six episodes in the first season...quality over quantity I guess!

Keven: So, them offering a walk-on part in a Season 2 episode doesnt point to there being a second season!? Riiiight. They're not going to offer you a chance to win a part in something that wont happen! :P
