Last night's season 7 finale of The Walking Dead finally gave us the showdown we've all been waiting for, as The Kingdom and The Hilltop Community came to Alexandria's aid just as Negan's killing stroke was about to be delivered to Carl. Though the SOB escaped, it was a major victory for our heroes - although it did take Sasha's brave sacrifice to give them the opening they needed after being betrayed by Jadis and her people.

Below you'll find a "Wrapping Up" featurette in which several members of the cast discuss the season, along with another video featuring Sonequa Martin-Green bidding farewell to her character.

Check 'em out, and let us know what you thought of "The First day of the Rest of Your Life" in the usual place.

Could have been better. Was ok. Opens up next season.

This season was weak with flashes of greatness, but they let it drag on far too much.

I loved it. The final showdown could have been longer, but other than that a great finale.

That tiger was epic. Literally sat for a solid minute in shock trying to comprehend its awesomeness. Im ready for some All Out War.

For me the episode was going to be a let down, then the last fifteen minutes happened and turned a boring episode into a good one. Shiva was awesome and hopefully the tiger won't be killed off any day soon. I understand what happens in the comic, but I'm hoping that won't be for some time.

I'll say this AMC has been killing it with great shows. Be it this, Better call Saul or Into the Badlands and AMC is easily one of my favorite channels to watch.

What annoyed me the most this season is that Rick blindly gave the scavengers whatever they wanted in order to get them onside without even knowing if they can actually fight or even figuring out who they were. He's always used a guilty until proven innocent approach to every group he's encountered but as soon as he met this group he was all like "sweet, I don't know who you are or who you're loyal to but whatever you guys need I'll get it for you". I had a feeling they'd turn on them in the end.

@bcom - He was desperate, at the time, Ezekiel refused to help him. And Rick was a cop, I'm sure he could tell whether people are good with a gun or not just by the way they hold them.

@bcom - He had stolen all of the weapons from a group of women and children, a group that had more of a cause to fight the Saviors than anyone, only to give those weapons to a group of strangers that had no cause to fight the Saviors and threw him in that death arena to prove his worth. Why Rick didn't go out looking for weapons immediately after Negan had confiscated the original stash is beyond me. But so many things that just don't make sense when it comes to the writing and direction.

@BlackHulk - Yeah exactly! That was something else that bugged me. That group of women had very personal reasons for fighting the saviors and rather than trying to recruit them all to fight, he just went in and took their weapons to give to a group he doesn't even know he can fully trust. The fact that the rest of Rick's crew also didn't have a problem with, or question Rick's decision with the scavengers is also weird. It's probably the weakest bit of writing the show's ever had.

Finally some good action for the finale, but through the incompetence of this season's writing, Rick once again proves how much of an idiot he truly is.

The only thing that bothered me in the finale is how Negan couldn't kill Walker Sasha, he's physically very strong in the comics, Rick slashed his throat but he didn't die and he broke Rick's leg with his bare hands.
