THE WALKING DEAD Promo For Next Week's Episode Released Following The Shocking Debut Of [SPOILER]

Last night's episode of The Walking Dead featured another time jump following the "death" of Rick Grimes but what has everyone talking is the debut of a character we never imagined meeting in the show...

After we said goodbye to Rick Grimes last week, The Walking Dead featured another big time jump on Sunday and there were some major ramifications for the AMC drama moving forward.

We saw Carol ruthlessly burning some Saviors alive, talking zombies (fans of the comic books will know they're actually the Whisperers), and most surprisingly, Rick Jr.! It turns out that when Rick "died," Michonne was pregnant and she now has a son who was named after the father that seemingly sacrificed himself to save Alexandria and the other communities.

What no one knows, of course, is that Rick was taken to parts unknown in a mysterious helicopter and that story will be explored in a trilogy of television movies.

We also have a promo for next week's episode of The Walking Dead which sheds some light on what's to come. What did you think of last night's instalment? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

The has taken a turn for the better after seasons 7 and 8 that really dragged along with crappy dialogue and stupid storytelling. It's back to where it was in before with a new showrunner in Angela Kang and has brought the back decent content that made it a good watch.

@bobbo68 - Kang and Kodos now run this show?

@gulducati - Just Kang

@bobbo68 - Ah, I see. But it's like John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Sure they did some stuff on their individual solo careers that were decent, but nothing compared to the stuff they collaborated on together. Kang without Kodos just won't be the same.

@gulducati - I think Kodos is still there. I think that they both are in charge. As long as it it isn't Scott Gimple

Rick was taken to parts unknown in a mysterious helicopter and that story will be explored in a trilogy of television movies...which nobody will watch.

I don't think that kid is real. I think Michonne is losing it after Rick's death. Notice that Judith doesn't interact with him, but she sneaks up on Michonne when she is "talking to him". Michonne's going through exactly what Rick went through after his wife died way back when. Anyway, that's my theory. I been wrong before. They always keep me guessing, and that's why I keep watching. =)

@Atomicockroach - i dont agree with your theory however i do like it a bit. Ever time in media we get the ghostz or imaginary friend, it usually plays out the same. If she is hallucinating it would be a nice call back to the source material.

I think the debut of the Whisperers was more the shocking part.
