Some viewers were left a little underwhelmed by the season 7 finale of The Walking Dead, but if AMC makes good on their word, this upcoming season will finally bring us that all-out war we were promised.

As the October 25 premiere draws nearer, EW has debuted a batch of promo images featuring pretty much every major and minor returning character in a variety of poses. Plus, FOX has released some key art which sees Rick assembling his army - yes, that does include the tiger - to take the fight to the ruthless Negan and his Saviors.

We've posted the majority of the stills below, but there are a few more which you can check out HERE.

@BillGrave - North would be cool... seems like Fear The Walking Dead is already tackling the desert areas.

@Kman - I'm catching up on Netflix after a big absence. At the part where they get to Hilltop....so far this season has been great! Is it not considered so?

@Pathogen - Ssn 7 is good... but it just feels a little stuck in neutral. But it's not bad, by any means. Some pretty cool, shocking moments for sure. Certain character archs are falling into place and what not.

@zeon00 - Yeah agreed. Lots of story potential up in the snow and mountains I'd reckon.

I'd have given anything to have seen Daryl be the one to be killed by Negan in the season seven premiere. Honestly he is one of the worst Mary-Sues on television and a terribly bland character. If characters like Abraham, Merle, the Governor etc. were all still alive in his place the show would be so much more interesting.

@TheGoddamnPeel - Merle is alive

This show lost me after the Governor stuff... its stopped being a zombie survival show and became more human drama than anything. Ill wait until its over and then binge it probably, oh and i REALLY dont like the whole Michonne and Rick thing just doesnt add up to me
