Although we all wanted to know what happened after the events of last week's episode, this weeks extended episode started of with Morgan talking to the camera about to tell his story. It showed the struggle of his character from where we left last Morgan in Season 3 episode "Clear." The acting from Lennie James(Morgan) we got from this episode was phenomenal and one of the best we've seen from him and from anyone on the show. We see his struggle as he has to "clear" the areas and hardships he is going through. He stumbles across a log cabin where we get introduced to a guy named Eastman played by John Carroll Lynch who was one of the nicest guys and one of the last possible person to bring other people back to humanity since Hershel or even Dale. We finally learn where Morgan learn his Donatello from TMNT bo staff fighting skills known as Aikido. Eastman's backstory was amazing and well done by The Walking Dead writers and how in one episode made you care about this character. After a heartbreaking story from Eastman, Master Splinter, I mean, Eastman teaches Morgan that all life is precious. Morgan during a training session has a breakdown which causes Eastman to accidentally and stupidly get bit by a walker. Although his life lessons and philosophy will live on through Morgan and hopefully pass on to the rest of Ricks group that all life is precious. Although this episode was a little slow, I liked that it had a slow build, it was a nice to get some backstory and character development on one of the best characters on the show. Looking forward to the rest of this season.
