Jordan Peele’s reboot of The Twilight Zone officially launched on CBS All Access today. Normally, you need a subscription to the streaming service to watch it, but thanks to a GEICO sponsorship, CBS is presenting the series premiere of the revival for free on YouTube.

The first episode, “The Comedian,” is now available to stream on YouTube. It stars Kumail Nanjiani as the title character - a stand-up comic “incorporates details about the lives of people he knows into his routine, unaware that every joke he makes results in someone being erased from existence.”

Witness if you will, the re-imagining of the most iconic series of all time. Join Academy Award® winner Jordan Peele as he hosts a journey through a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Next stop ahead, The Twilight Zone, now streaming exclusively on CBS All Access.

The Comedian” is one of two episodes that premiered today on CBS All Access. The second, "Nightmare at 30,000 Feet,” stars Adam Scott as a journalist aboard a commercial flight from the United States to Tel Aviv, Israel “who finds an MP3 player with a true crime podcast that details how the plane he is currently on will disappear.”

Future episodes in the series will star John Cho, Tracy Morgan, Ike Barinholtz, David Wayne, Taissa Farmiga, Rhea Seehorn, Alison Tolman, John Cho, Sanaa Lathan, Jacob Tremblay, Jessica Williams and Steven Yeun. Meanwhile, writer/director Jordan Peele will guide us on this wondrous journey as the iconic host and narrator.

The Twilight Zone is locked behind a subscription; however, CBS All Access is also allowing a free week-long trial, so it is possible to watch both episodes for free before deciding if you want to subscribe.

For those who have seen "Us" I felt it was very much like a twilight zone episode, alot of suspension of disbelief

@DannRamm113 - Not a fan at all of Get Out, very overrated. But I did enjoy Twilight Zone though, both segments. Right up my alley.

Just watched it. Maybe my expectations were too high cause I thought it was pretty weak and was bored most the episode. For it being the first of a new series you'd think they'd lead with a strong episode. If this is an indicator of how the whole series will go I'm gonna sit this one out. Too bad, was looking forward to it.

@Nightwing1015 - That monstrosity belongs in the trash, after being on the drawing board.

Why couldn't they have just kept this?

Why didn't they just put this on Netflix or Hulu? Do they really think people are gonna buy yet another streaming service just for one show.

Ppl should look up the writers if they were expecting GOOD episodes. The fact the director of Dark Phoenix is involved should be enough to second guess this. Peele is not the writer just narrator.

Saw both episodes and it was alright. The acting is good, there are some great Easter eggs in both episodes that go back to the original series, and the storyline develop suspense remarkably well. But then again, the storyline is extremely predictable and the audience can pretty much predict the ending of each episode just before the first “commercial break”.

Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg are doing some great work here. Two episodes in, it already feels like classic Twilight Zone. The camera work in the airplane episode really stokethat same sense of paranoia that drove Shatner and Lithgow insane.
