ARROW Season 5 Adds CHICAGO P.D. Star Josh Segarra As Adrian Chase, a.k.a. The Vigilante
With Team Arrow seemingly no more, new vigilantes will clearly be stepping up in Arrow's fifth season as the latest addition is someone who will serve as a close ally to Mayor Oliver Queen...
The cast of Arrow season five continues to grow, this time with the addition of yet another new ally for Oliver Queen. According to Deadline, Josh Segarra has been cast as Adrian Chase, Star City's new district attorney who will be a friend, not foe, to Mayor Oliver Queen. His main goal will be to clean up the streets by using the legal system, but could we end up seeing him also suit up in The CW series?
Introduced in the pages of New Teen Titans Annual #2 back in 1983, Chase became Vigilante as a means to fight crime outside of his official jurisdictions. He used non lethal methods at first, but his mental health deteriorated and he became a killer. Following a similar story arc here would certainly provide the Green Arrow with an interesting new predicament in season five of Arrow.
That's all we know for now anyway. Segarra will have a recurring presence in Arrow and is best known for his stage work as well as appearances in the likes of Trainwreck, Sirens, and Chicago P.D.
