Filming for season 7 of Arrow recently began and fans can now anticipate an epic action sequence in the season premiere. Of all the DC shows, Arrow boasts some of the most impressive fight scenes, something which the show has become known for. The cast and stunt crew have delivered some truly fantastic fights over the years, always working their hardest to deliver exciting sequences for the fans, a trait that will certainly continue into season 7.

According to series star Stephen Amell on Twitter, they just finished filming a scene that he is so proud of and excited for fans to see that it makes his top 3 list of all time Arrow fights. Amell places it third on his list, behind the fight in the pilot episode of the show and the one against R'as al Ghul in the mid-season finale of season 3.

With the seventh season beginning with Oliver behind bars and the show seemingly adapting the canceled Green Arrow film Super Max for Oliver's time behind bars, there's a good chance the epic action sequence Amell is hyping takes place in prison.

With his superhero identity revealed, Queen faces many enemies in jail, including numerous villains that he has helped bring to justice over the past six seasons. It will certainly be very exciting to see how Oliver adapts to his new life as an inmate.

Are you excited for season 7 of Arrow and the new setting in which we will find Oliver Queen? Be sure to share your thoughts below!

I'll agree with the R'as Al Ghul fight, but I would also add the Slade Wilson/Deathstroke fights during season 2. There are several awesome ones to pick from

I read this days ago, I am trusting him. He's been doing this for the last 7 years so he should know best.

My favourite fight from S1 was with that assassin that came to the Queen Manor.

Bring it on Oliver.

Arrow always has the best season premiere action scenes. I hope Oliver has a pg-13 fight scene off Punisher’s prison fight scene

@JohnnyTBP - a fantastic prison fight scene. But I want him to do something like this, which seems more in line with Arrow:

This scene undoubtedly must have something to do with prison sex.

I believe a lot of the fight scenes are done well throughout Arrow. But there has definitely been some terrible ones, such as Ollie fighting Dhark in the Season 4 finale

A lot of the action on the show feels very stunt show-ish. Theres such a shift in the actors acting then the obvious stunt team doing their thing.
