Thats awesome,I love that the first thing he is teaching him is the water thing so it can strengthen his arms and hands for him to pull the bow back, thats the first thing Shado taught him, also Oliver doesnt tell him his identity and just trains him as Arrow, also what the hell is that in the cave that oliver and sara are looking at,hmmmm

This is a comic book TV show, even the greatest of CB media require a ton of suspension disbelief. The people calling out stupid shit like "der hur people should know it's Oliver so obveeus" need to realize that.

I hope Arrow connecting to the DCCU was one of the reasons for the Man of Steel sequel's delay. DC needs to fully flesh out their universe.

@sanderman In pic 2 and 4 he has slapped the water and the bowl has not broken. In 6 he has broken the bowl but he has clearly made a fist and punched through it. Likewise in pic 7 he is hitting the training dummy and it is not breaking but in pic 9 he is clearly agitated and is choosing to destroy the dummy.

I think from all these pictures it is clear how this is going to go. Ollie is going to agree to train Roy but only if he is willing to be patient and perform his training regiment as instructed. Emboldened by his new found strength (and possibly reacting negatively to the Mirakuru as Slade did on the Island) Roy will become angry and break these things in an attempt to show that these initial steps in training are pointless for him.

While I see the value in teaching Roy patience and fighting technique with the dummy, the bowl of water exercise still seems pointless. The entire reason Shado made Ollie slap water was to strengthen him for the bow, which Roy should not have a problem with.

if they are not gonna bring Arrow to the DCCU, maybe they should just have batman do a cameo... ie theyre his very own universe..
