JUSTIFIED's David Meunier Joins ARROW Season 5 As Ishmael Gregor; Plus A Season 4 Deleted Scene

The latest addition to the cast of Arrow season 5 is David Meunier (Justified, Jericho, Revolution), who will play DC baddie, Ishmael Gregor. In the comics, Gregor is granted the immense powers of the demonic Sabbac, but it remains to be seen if that carries over to the small screen of course.

Here's how Deadline's report describes this take on the character: "The slick and intimidating Pakhan (“Godfather”) of the Bratva, whom Anatoly (David Nykl) reports and takes a special interest in Oliver Queen."

EW has also debuted a new deleted scene from season 4, featuring Thea (Willa Holland) getting riled up by the paparazzi.

Arrow Season 5 returns Wednesday, October 5 on the CW.

Justified, the most underrated show ever, and David was great in it til' season 5 (when he leaves the show). I'm actually excited for this Arrow news.

@imkennypowers - How many seasons did it have?

P.S. ...I missed you man. Not ashamed to admit it.

@McGee -

Six seasons. The first season might be the weakest season because it tries to find it's footing, but when it does it's a wonderful series. The last few seasons are great!! Hate it ended because I loved the characters, but it ended on top when it was still great.
I strongly recommend it.

P.S. I missed you too, brother! No shame at all!

Arrow is at 96% on rottentomatoes.

@blackandyellow - Well than according to the majority of the users on this site it must be a better show than Netflixs' Daredevil sitting at an inferior 86%.

@blackandyellow -

And yet for some reason folks STILL continue to think RT is the go-to source to determine or "prove" whether films/shows are good or not.

@blackandyellow - Not surprising seeing as for some reason on that site they rate by premiere than the season as a whole.

@BlackStar25 -Not so much. Not that I would ever argue Arrow being better than Daredevil, just pointing out how true @imkennypowers post is. If someone is going to argue the validity of RT movie scores, that same someone should back up the TV scores. (This statement is from the RT website listing Arrow's seasons 2,3 and 4 at 100% fresh) A SERIES GETS AN AVERAGE TOMATOMETER WHEN AT LEAST 50 PERCENT OF ITS SEASONS HAVE A SCORE. THE AVERAGE TOMATOMETER IS THE SUM OF ALL SEASON SCORES DIVIDED BY THE NUMBER OF SEASONS WITH A TOMATOMETER.

@imkennypowers - you are an idiot. The way rotten tomatoes works for movies and TV shows are fundamentally different.

Rt for TV only does the first couple of episodes or pilot and assigns a rating from there.

It's much less comprehensive than movie rotten tomatoes.

Also do you even know what rotten tomatoes does? The number it assigns isn't saying that the movie is a "96%" good movie. It's saying that 96% of the reviews it collected like the movie.

I'm sure it's fundamentally different but just sayn'

I'm an idiot??? Says the kid jumping to defend RT because of your lack of intelligence & reading comprehension YOU thought I said RT's TV & film ratings are the same???

HAHAHAHAHAHA. WOW. Stay in school, kiddo!

I'm sorry you've been using RT the wrong way this whole time. And I'm sorry you fail miserably to understand how RT ACTUALLY works and the fact that the overall score is only relevant and remotely matters if you agree with the opinions of the critics responsible for said score.

Do yourself a favor, read this brilliant article and educate yourself.

@imkennypowers - not to mention that I don't remember seeing anything in your original post that implied TV and film were rated the same way.
