Are you excited for tonight's episode of Arrow which will mark the live-action debut of Vixen, played by Megalyn Echikunwoke.  The show will pick-up, where Vixen's CW Seed animated series left off, with an already established relationship between the Tantu Totem weilder and Star City's Green Arrow. CW President Mark Peodwitz stated a few weeks back that the goal for Vixen was to either spinoff into her own show or join DC's Legends of Tomorrow.  Addressing that possibility, Megalyn stated---

"I mean, who doesn't want their own superhero show! Come on! If that happened, I definitely would not be sad. I just love the opportunity to play this character in live-action and I think, if the fans appreciate it like I hope they will, that I would love to do more, in any capacity, really. I'm really excited about the second season of the animated show, and I'm really excited about the idea of bringing Vixen into all of the universes, basically getting to hang out with all of her comic book friends -- even the Suicide Squad or the Justice League. All of that would be very cool."

Arrow is all new, tonight at 8PM on The CW.

VIXEN JOINS TEAM ARROW – Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes he needs help battling Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) so he calls in an old friend – Vixen (guest star Megalyn E.K.). Using her magical ability to summon animal powers, Vixen gets a lock on Darhk’s location and the team goes to war. Meanwhile, Thea (Willa Holland) has a heart-to-heart talk with Malcolm (John Barrowman). Gregory Smith directed the episode with story by Marc Guggenheim and teleplay by Keto Shimizu & Brian Ford Sullivan (#415).

Vixen has no kind of rogues gallery....or vast mythology either. Very cool character, but idk if she needs a show.

I'd love a Birds of Prey show though

@ComicsBornAndBred - I think it would be awesome to have a show with a group of female heroes.
