Rutina Wesley's Surprising Role In Season Four Of ARROW Revealed
True Blood and Hannibal star Rutina Wesley was recently added to the cast of Arrow's fourth season, but no details on her role in The CW series were revealed at the time. However, we now know that she'll play someone from the comics, albeit with a surprising twist...
Rutina Wesley recently landed a recurring role in season four of Arrow, and now Entertainment Weekly has revealed that she will play Liza Warner. She's a reletively obscure character from the comics better known as Lady Cop (seriously). She debuted in the 1970s and was basically just a female police offer who solved crimes. However, she'll have a little more than that to do in The CW series as "Arrow’s spin on the character is said to be surprisingly different as she will be a member of the anti-vigilante task force." It sounds like Star City PD aren't happy about Oliver Queen's return as the Green Arrow! Wesley joins a number of new cast members which include Jimmy Akingbola as Baron Reiter, Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk, Alexander Calvert as Anarky, Echo Kellum as Mister Terrific, Falk Hentschel as Hawkman, and Casper Crump as Vandal Savage.
