Watch ARROW Star Stephen Amell Run The AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR Course For Charity
Arrow star Stephen Amell has made his interest in competing on American Ninja Warrior clear for some time and he's finally been given a chance as he raises money for this year's Red Nose Day.
Stephen Amell performs many of his own stunts in Arrow and achieved a lifelong dream a couple of years ago when he stepped into a WWE ring. Since then, the actor has set his sights on American Ninja Warrior, and to raise money and awareness to help children living in poverty in America and around the world, he was given the opportunity to take part in NBC's first ever celebrity edition episode.
Frustratingly, the video provides only a sneak peek and cuts off just as things are getting good, but Amell is doing some amazing work here and looks every bit the superhero he portrays on television.
"People have always wanted to see Stephen on the show," Matt Iseman, host of American Ninja Warrior, said in an interview with TV Line about Amell's participation. "I’m an Arrow fan and when I saw the Salmon Ladder in the Arrowcave, I thought, ‘This sonuvab–ch is a fan of Ninja Warrior!’"
The Red Nose Day edition of American Ninja Warrior airs May 25th, so we'll see how Amell does then!
