Things are looking good for Batwoman on The CW, and while it's fair to say that the show would benefit somewhat from delving more into the Caped Crusader's world (surely Tommy Elliot and Julia Pennyworth deserved more than one-off appearances?), it's been a fun ride thus far. 

Now, The CW has released an entire gallery of cast portraits which put the spotlight on Batwoman, Kate Kane, Alice, Sophie, and a host of other characters from the network's latest DC TV show. 

If you're a fan of Batwoman, any one of these could be considered wallpaper-worthy, and the show definitely boasts a solid ensemble without any of those typically annoying CW stereotypes.

Mary turned out to be a surprise of a character due to her handling of an illegal clinic whereas she could've ended up being just an average step-sister. It was a perfect way to include her in Kate's Batwoman activities.

And I like her relationship and banter with Luke.

When will the executioner swing the axe on the show? The ratings are going down, down down.

I’ve tried to give this a shot, but it gets worse every week. Put Kate on Legends and wrap her story up and quit forcing poor quality female superhero social justice shows down our throat, DC.

Batwoman would have likely worked much better on DC Universe, where Titans and Doom Patrol are much higher quality. If DC doesn’t put money and new Live Action shows into it, why does it exist?? DC is so stupid. Which is tragic because I would way rather watch a DC film over a Marvel film.
