BATWOMAN Star Javicia Leslie Transforms Into X-MEN's Storm For Awesome Halloween Costume

Batwoman was cancelled by The CW earlier this year, but former Caped Crusader Javicia Leslie may be looking to jump to the MCU if her jaw-dropping Storm costume for Halloween is any indication...

Halloween is very nearly upon us, and we're sure the next couple of days will bring plenty of impressive - and expensive - costumes worn by celebrities. However, something tells us everyone will struggle to beat what Batwoman star Javicia Leslie has come up with!

The actress played original character Ryan Wilder in The CW series that was cancelled earlier this year after three hit-and-miss seasons. It's recently been reported that Leslie will have a "mystery role" in the upcoming final season of The Flash, though set photos have confirmed she'll suit up as the villainous Red Death.

In the meantime, Gotham City's former Caped Crusader has suited up as the X-Men's Storm. Decked out in an incredibly comic-accurate costume, she proves that a) she would be a great fit for this role and b) that suit would definitely work in Marvel Studios' eventual X-Men reboot.

There's still no word on when that will become a reality, of course, though mutants like Namor the Submariner and Ms. Marvel are slowly starting to find their way into the MCU. While Storm was heavily featured in the previous X-Men movies, we'd be shocked if she didn't factor into whatever comes next.

However, we don't anticipate seeing Alexandra Shipp reprise the role.

"I loved the experience. I think it was so definitive of my 20s to be part of that," Shipp told us earlier this year. "I’d never worked on anything so big and to also be able to play not only one of my favourite superheroes growing up, but also reprising a role Halle Berry played was a huge honour."

"In future, I think I’d like to see a woman of darker complexion play Storm," she said of her future hopes for the hero. "I think it’s about time that we see that representation, and I’m more than happy to see that. I think it would be really great. The little girl in me would really like to see that."

Take a closer look at Leslie's transformation into Storm below:
