Here's Our First Look At HAWKMAN & HAWKGIRL From LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

To celebrate the start of filming on DC TV spin-off Legends Of Tomorrow, The CW have released our first look at Ciara Renée's 'Hawkgirl' and Falk Hentschel's 'Hawkman' in costume. Does their look live up to your expectations? Hit the jump to find out!

Filming on the much anticipated DC TV spin-off Legends Of Tomorrow commenced this week, and The CW have just given us our first look at two of the show's most popular DC Comics heroes. The promotional still features Ciara Renée's 'Hawkgirl' in costume alongside Falk Hentschel's mace-wielding 'Hawkman'. Both are set to appear in episodes of The Flash and Arrow this fall, before featuring more prominently as series regulars on Legends Of Tomorrow next year.


The two costumes fit right in with what we've seen so far from The CW shows: dark colours and lots of leather. The heroes' wings are notably absent - but it's possible the network are saving that reveal for their first flight. What do you think of Hawkgirl & Hawkman's live-action look? I don't mind that the CW costumes are leather, it's a TV budget, what do you expect?
I think Hawkgirl and Hawkman look awesome. Some of the best yet in the CWverse.

Looks better then the Smallville costume at least. The Smallville costume just looked super bulky and not usable in any real way. It also didn't help the guy in Smallville was older and not as defined so he looked really fat in the that suit.

Smallville Hawkman looked a little silly at times (I still liked it) but that character was one of the best on the show.

Smallville Hawkman was a total baddass. His costume... not so much.

If something like this appeared on AoS, the people here would laugh and trash it unconditionally. But it's the CW, so it gets a pass like usual I guess.

They look good. They'll look even better in action with wings and while flying. Plus added CGI effects to the Mace will make them look even cooler.

Looks really good and besides they'll only get better with cgi like we saw in the aileron and they'll probably get an upgrade next season too
