KRYPTON: The Main Man Has Arrived In A Wild New Sneak Peek Trailer For Season 2

The Main Man Lobo has arrived on Krypton and he's taking no prisoners as he hunts down both Seg-El and Adam Strange, who have, much to his chagrin, never heard of the Last Czarnian.

With the second season of Syfy's Krypton set to premiere next month, the network has shared a wild new teaser, spotlighting the galaxy's most ruthless bounty hunter Lobo (Emmett J. Scanlan), who looks to make a big impression as he takes aim on his multitude of bounties, which seemingly include both Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe) and Adam Strange (Shaun Sipos).

The first video is a quick clip as the Main Man introduces himself and lists off his various nicknames while the second is a behind-the-scenes look at Scanlan prepping to bring the fan-favorite character to life.

Set two generations before Superman ever heads to Earth, Krypton follows Kal-El’s grandfather (played by Cameron Cuffe) — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos. The series comes from producers David Goyer (the Dark Knight trilogy) and Damian Kindler (Sleepy Hollow). Along with Cuffe, the show stars Georgina Campbell (Broadchurch), Elliot Cowan (Da Vinci’s Demons), Ann Ogbomo (World War Z), Rasmus Hardiker (Your Highness), Wallis Day (Will), Aaron Pierre (Tennison) and Ian McElhinney (Game of Thrones).

Krypton features:
Cameron Cuffe as Seg-El
Georgina Campbell as Lyta-Zod
Shaun Sipos as Adam Strange
Elliot Cowan as Daron-Vex
Ann Ogbomo as Jayna-Zod
Aaron Pierre as Dev-Em
Rasmus Hardiker as Kem
Wallis Day as Nyssa-Vex
Blake Ritson as Brainiac
Ian McElhinney as Val-El
Colin Salmon as General Dru-Zod

Krypton returns with an all-new episode June 12

@billnye69 - In this age of VPNs, this seems like a pointless thing to do.

I just want to thank whichever deity is responsible for the show going with Lobo and not Nubo. I think it's Odin.

Krypton turned out to be a very cool and engaging surprise show with the action, the conspiracy ala GoT with the politics and strategies among the Houses and then it went to to pull the rug in a trippy way when they revealed Zod also went back in time to help but in his own Zod-esque way. The way he ended up being Lyta's son and how then goes to be his young mother's mentor is, wow! XD Definitely my fave Elseworlds-ish show.

And that's where I left off because life got in the way but I must catch up! I really like the characters and story and Colin Salmon is great as Zod. The design for Lobo is good although I wasn't expecting that kind of voice.

Interesting to see that Seg-El might have to team up with Brainiac now.

@Battabing - yeah that's awesome, all of Superman's villains and no Superman like Gotham with all of Batman's villains and no Batman God you'll eat up anything

@blitzburgh - Gotham's villains don't need Batman to be interesting. Have you heard of the Solo Joker film?

@Nightwing1015 - yes I have heard of the solo Joker film and I think it's a terrible idea. The whole point of Joker is to never know what his true identity was oh, I don't need an origin story for this psychopath because now it will take the mystery away

@blitzburgh - "The whole point of Joker is to never know what his true identity was"

That was not the whole point of him. The most popular Joker stories are the ones that reveal his origin:

The Killing Joke
Batman 89
Batman Endgame

Never imagined Lobo sounding like that, but the first season surprised and impressed me, so I'm ready to give this a chance.

I like his voice here better than the DCAU. That was really bad.

He looks and acts great! But I always thought he was a space Mexican, not a space Irishman
