The Legion of Doom will finally assemble in next week's episode of Legends of Tomorrow, and while we didn't expect him to return quite so soon, the promo below confirms that Captain Cold is back! How exactly he's been resurrected remains to be seen, but given the Reverse-Flash's ability to travel through time, it's possible that this is a past version who never ended up becoming a member of the Legends.

What did you guys think of the final part of the "Invasion!" crossover tonight? Are you excited to see Captain Cold return in Legends of Tomorrow? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts below.

LEGION OF DOOM — When a new Time Aberration is discovered by the Legends, they find themselves headed to 1927 Chicago. The Legends quickly realize that they have been set up by Eobard Thawne (guest star Matt Letscher), Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) and the newest member of the Legion of Doom, Malcolm Merlyn (guest start John Barrowman). While everyone is trying to help fix what they think is the mission, Jax (Franz Drameh) encourages a reluctant Stein (Victor Garber) to share his secret with the other Legends. Stein is taken captive and Sara (Caity Lotz) must make the tough choice of either stopping the Legion of Doom or saving Stein. Meanwhile, Rory (Dominic Purcell) gets an unexpected visitor and is not sure how to handle it. Brandon Routh, Nick Zano and Maisie Richardson-Sellers also star. Ralph Hemecker directed the episode written by Sarah Nicole Jones & Ray Utarnachitt.

Anyone notice the Civil War and Avengers homages?

The shot of the team engaging the aliens was very remsisncent of the shot of Team Cap and Team Iron Man as they began to attack at one another.

Supergirl: "you are Earth's Mightiest Heroes."

Good episode. Everything was good besides Cisco and Felicity cringe moments about time travel.

Loved the stuff between Stein and his daughter. That'll be a nice dynamic. He's keeping his kid!

Ollie tryna cut Kara out....

Kara like:

*Commander Steel doenst need a suit haha.

@ComicsBornAndBred - yeah, I was thinking that too, it looked very similar to that Civil War shot. fitting, since this was the CW's version of the Avengers, with them assembling to fight off an alien invasion and all.

@ComicsBornAndBred - He does so he doesn't look like Colossus. The suit needs work. Lose the shoulder pads, gloves, and trim the Mega man helmet down. Eye black isn't necessary either.

@Nightmare - maybe thats it. Idk, he' solid steel.

There;s too much going on. No need for gloves definitely. Just why, his fists are steel. Mega Man helmet needs to be waaaay slimmer. Mught as well just do your best to do something similar to the Cap MCU helmet, but dont outright copy it. Give him a chinstrap.

@ComicsBornAndBred - I said that in the the other thread. Basically Evans' helmet but with the "fin" on top or whatever it's called.

Makes me wanna make one myself actually.

Oliver is never more likable than when Barry is hanging around. That Supergirl is a real cutie when she's not in costume.

@LordHarryLatts - I feel like the other show's writers do a better job writing Arrow characters. LOL.
