Earlier today, Stephen Amell revealed the extensive makeup and fake beard he'll don to play a version of Green Arrow set 30 years in the future. Now, showrunner Marc Guggenheim has shared a look at some concept art from Andy Poon. When it was first announced that Amell would be playing Oliver Queen at 61 yrs old, it was also revealed that at some point during the next 30 yrs, Oliver Queen loses his arm. In the promos and official still, we've yet to get a clear look at his arm but the concept art below offers our best look yet.  What do you think is the story behind his missing limb?

THE TEAM ENCOUNTERS A VERY DIFFERENT OLIVER QUEEN – When a malfunction sends the Waverider crashing into 2046 Star City, our heroes face a startling version of their own future where they never stop Savage (guest star Casper Crump) and never return home. The city is in ruins and overrun by criminals, which thrills Rory (Dominic Purcell). Sara (Caity Lotz) is despondent over the destruction of her home and stunned when she learns what happened to her old friend, Oliver Queen (guest star Stephen Amell). Steve Shill directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Ray Utarnachitt (#106).

It's alright. Not the best, but far from the worst. I'm digging the Green Arrow costume in the current season. Wish I could say the same thing about the current season.
