Joe Dante, the director of 80's classics
Gremlins and
The Howling, has signed on to direct an episode of
DC's Legends of Tomorrow. This was revealed by showrunner Marc Guggenheim on Twitter this Wednesday when he posted the cover sheet for the eight episode of the series.
Dante will direct
Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 Episode 8: “Night of the Hawk” which is currently in production. This was later confirmed by Dante himself on his personal Twitter.
Dante also retweeted Guggenheim's cover sheet for Episode 8, so it is safe to say that this is the episode he will be directing.
