'Jonah Hex' Will Feature On DC's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

It's just been announced that DC Western antihero Jonah Hex will make an appearance on the CW's debut season of Legends Of Tomorrow. Apparently the team will encounter the hideously scarred bounty hunter when they travel back in time to the Old West. More past the jump...

Josh Brolin's 2010 Jonah Hex movie wasn't very well received (to put it kindly), but now another actor will get his chance to bring the legendary Civil War veteran turned fearsome bounty hunter to life when he makes his small screen debut on DC's Legends Of Tomorrow.

"Ever since we decided that Legends would involve time travel, we were eager to do a story set in the Old West,” the show's executive producer Marc Guggenheim explained to EW. “But if you’re going to do a story set in the DC Universe version of the Old West, you simply must include Jonah Hex in it. We’re thrilled about bringing another well known, beloved DC character to television.”

No word on who will play the character yet, but he's expected to feature in episode 11, with the possibility to recur. Are you excited to see Jonah Hex make his DCTV debut?

DC's Legends of Tomorrow premieres on January 21 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
