'Jonah Hex' Will Feature On DC's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

It's just been announced that DC Western antihero Jonah Hex will make an appearance on the CW's debut season of Legends Of Tomorrow. Apparently the team will encounter the hideously scarred bounty hunter when they travel back in time to the Old West. More past the jump...

Josh Brolin's 2010 Jonah Hex movie wasn't very well received (to put it kindly), but now another actor will get his chance to bring the legendary Civil War veteran turned fearsome bounty hunter to life when he makes his small screen debut on DC's Legends Of Tomorrow.

"Ever since we decided that Legends would involve time travel, we were eager to do a story set in the Old West,” the show's executive producer Marc Guggenheim explained to EW. “But if you’re going to do a story set in the DC Universe version of the Old West, you simply must include Jonah Hex in it. We’re thrilled about bringing another well known, beloved DC character to television.”

No word on who will play the character yet, but he's expected to feature in episode 11, with the possibility to recur. Are you excited to see Jonah Hex make his DCTV debut?

DC's Legends of Tomorrow premieres on January 21 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

DC is using TV to inception us. Think about it, before Man of Steel there was Smallville. Before Batman v Superman we have Gotham. Before Flash, we have Flash CW. They are planting the idea of characters in our heads before they come out so that the GA will be like "hmm, ive seen him on TV". Brilliant

The only good thing about the movie was Josh Brolin and the bit role Michael Fassbender had.

Everything else was garbage.

This show looks like it will be fun, if nothing else.

I hear it's the most "comic booky" of CB shows so far.

Jonah Hex was better than Green Lantern, Iron Man 2, Green Hornet, Losers, Wanted, The Spirit. Actually, it was better than most Westerns.

My point is, nothing is perfect, but is a good movie to watch on tv.

Thomas Jane? Dudes probably on some Island Banging women we all post on these threads... Yeah I'd switch lives with him.
His new movie is very promising and heart warming... "Homeless Dad"

@XF14: Stein is great. But maybe if you get to know the characters more on this show like Captain Cold and Heat Wave (the best in my opinion) you might like them more.
