The CW has released a first look at next week's episode of Legends of Tomorrow, and while it looks like the team will be setting off on a fun adventure in Feudal Japan when The Atom's armour is stolen, the big reveal here is the small screen debut of Citizen Steel. You can see Nate discovering his powers in the promo below, and it looks like he's going to make for a formidable new ally to the time travellers.

Nate (Nick Zano) is shocked to learn that he has powers but then accidentally lands himself and Ray (Brandon Routh) in Feudal Japan. After Sara (Caity Lotz) convinces their stowaway Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), AKA Vixen, that Rory (Dominic Purcell) is not a murderer, they all agree to find Nate and help him master his powers in order to defend the Japanese village from the Shogun and his army of samurai warriors. Meanwhile, Jax (Franz Drameh) and Stein (Victor Garber) stay back to help fix the ship and find a secret compartment but decide not to tell the rest of the team what they learn. Kevin Tancharoen directed the episode written by Phil Klemmer & Grainne Godfree.

Love this show. Too many people on this site criticize every little thing that these shows ARENT when they need to sit back, relax and enjoy the shows for what they ARE.

Disappointed hourman was killed and that the jsa besides commander steel and vixen were basically extras, but I do like this season better than the first.

Fantastic episode. I loved how Silver Age and comic booky it felt, even though the JSA are from the Golden Age. I want to see more of Obsidian, Dr. Mid-Nite, and Stargirl. Their powers and costumes were spot on. In fact, I want Sara, Firestorm, Atom, and Heat Wave to die and we get a JSA-only show from now on. The JSA was one of the best things comic book TV has ever done.

Was I the only one who thought of Solomon Grundy whenever the Baron became a hulk? Fitting because Grundy was an original Legion of Doom member, AND an enemy of the JSA.

I doubt Hourman is really dead, though. This is a time travel show, remember.

@HerculesJones - no just like the Nazi wasn't Hulk or Abomination and Captain Steel wasn't CaptIn America. I enjoyed it but my son felt like the characters were a total marvel rip off. I'd have to look up when characters were created but there are obvious similarities.
