LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 4 Premiere Was Monday Night's Least-Watched Show

Last night, the CW finally aired the Season 4 premiere of Legends of Tomorrow, and now the ratings are in for "The Virgin Gary" and the numbers are not very impressive. Hit the jump for more details...

The time-traveling crew of the Waverider returned to action last night, taking on new mystical threats with the aid of John Constantine. However, it seems Legends of Tomorrow wasn't able to use any of that magic to gain more viewers, as it's officially Monday's least-watched TV show.

To make matters worse, last night's episode, "The Virgin Gary," also drew in a series low for the program, earning a 0.3 rating/1 share in the coveted 18-49 demographic with 1.01 million total viewers.

Meanwhile, the CW's other DC Comics drama, Arrow, maintained the 0.4 rating from last week’s season premiere, and averaged 1.2 million viewers.

While these numbers may be less than impressive, it's important to note that last night's installment was the first episode to air in the series' new time slot, so it will be interesting to see if the ratings change with future episodes.

I mean they keep shuffling around all non Flash shows, what do they expect is going to happen? Some people didnt even realize Legends had premiered!

Anyways, last nights premiere was the best episode of the Arrowverse this fall so far.

@HeavyMetal4Life - yep, I didn't know.

Thank god it's the CW where this doesn't matter TOO much.

The 3+ day number is more important for pretty much all CW original programming.

Going up against MNF is ratings suicide.

BOOOO!

This is why we can't have nice things. The best Arrowverse show with the lowest ratings. Bad CW viewers! Bad!

Somehow the numbers don't surprise me, even if I can just watch it on Netflix. I gotta a feeling that all the CWDC series really are starting to drag a bit. The cross-overs are nice, but it just runs for too long to get me invested in it. I don't know about other people, but in my opinion the CW could use a shake-up in their series line-up

I'm honestly amazed this show among others associated with the CW are still on the air. Lazy writing kills everything.

Legends is terrific its a shame comic book fans aren't supporting it, all you ever see is Constantine fans crying how he needs his own show but they don't even support the one he is on.

Not a great sign. But these shows shouldn't have to last forever like Smallville tried to do, and Supernatural is currently doing. Legends wrapping things up this season, and possibly making room for the Superman show, would make a lot of sense.
