DC's Legends of Tomorrow has already promoted Matt Ryan (John Constantine), Jes Macallan (Ava Sharpe) and Courtney Ford (Nora Darhk) to series regulars and now, they've added two more to their ensemble.
Ramona Young (Santa Clarita Diet) has signed on for a series regular role as Alaska Yu, a character that is "easily swept up by romantic notions and fantasy novels, she’s something of an expert in the world of the magical creatures that the Legends encounter in season four." She's joined by Tom Wilson (Back to the Future), who will recur as Nate's charming and charismatic father, Hank Heywood.
As for Maisie Richardson-Sellers, who has played Amaya for the past two seasons, she'll be suiting up as a completely different character named Charlie. During the panel. Richardson-Sellers described her new character as "a magical fugitive who slips through the rift. She’s a rebel without a cause, she’s a trickster. She’s on her own mission, and the Legends stumble upon her. She’s going to shake up the ship and challenge the team as they try to determine if the newcomer is a friend or foe."
Beebo - and Gary - will also return. So, yeah, get excited.
After defeating the Legion of Doom, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow face a new existential threat created by their actions at the end of last season. By revisiting a moment in time they’d already participated in, they’ve essentially fractured the timeline and created anachronisms all across time! Our team must find a way to return all the anachronisms to their original timelines before the time stream falls apart. But before our Legends can jump back into action, Rip Hunter and his newly established Time Bureau call their methods into question and disband the team. Challenging the Time Bureau’s authority, they recruit a hacker from the future, Zari Tomaz and continue their time travelling shenanigans, while insisting that however messy their methods may be, some problems are beyond the Bureau’s capabilities. Some problems can only be fixed by Legends.
