LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: The Team Bids Farewell To A Legend In This Heartwarming New Featurette

"Thank you, Jefferson... for the adventure of a lifetime. I hope your life is long and full of love. Just - just as mine has been."

We knew the incomparable Victor Garber would be departing DC's Legends of Tomorrow going into the "Crisis on Earth-X" crossover, but we had no idea how emotional his departure would be with Garber's Martin Stein paying the ultimate price midway through the finale in order to ensure that his surrogate son, Jax, would get to live a long life just as he had.

The CW has now released a new featurette, paying tribute to the fallen hero with a few of his key scenes from the crossover and a new interview with Garber himself as he reflects on his run and working with Franz Drameh.

Watch the new "Farewell to a Legend" featurette below:

"Beebo the God of War" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

FOLLOW YOUR HEART - Rattled by recent events, the Legends dive into work which finds them investigating an Anachronism in a Viking settlement in the New World. The Legends realize that the Norsemen are worshipping an artifact as their god and are surprised by the artifact's origin. For the first time, Sara (Caity Lotz) is worried that they might need back up when Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) shows up. Meanwhile, Jax (Franz Drameh) finds a loophole that could potentially change history, but it is a risk he is willing to take. Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Maisie Richadson-Sellers and Dominic Purcell also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & James Eagan (#309). Original airdate 12/05/2017.

After defeating the Legion of Doom, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow face a new existential threat created by their actions at the end of last season. By revisiting a moment in time they’d already participated in, they’ve essentially fractured the timeline and created anachronisms all across time! Our team must find a way to return all the anachronisms to their original timelines before the time stream falls apart. But before our Legends can jump back into action, Rip Hunter and his newly established Time Bureau call their methods into question and disband the team. Challenging the Time Bureau’s authority, they recruit a hacker from the future, Zari Tomaz and continue their time travelling shenanigans, while insisting that however messy their methods may be, some problems are beyond the Bureau’s capabilities. Some problems can only be fixed by Legends.

Legends Of Tomorrow features:
Brandon Routh as Dr. Ray Palmer/The Atom
Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein/Firestorm
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary
Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson/Firestorm
Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave
Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen
Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heywood/Citizen Steel
Amy Pemberton as Gideon
Tala Ashe as Zari Adrianna Tomaz
Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter
Tracy Ifeachor as Kuasa
Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold
Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk
Courtney Ford as Eleanor Darhk

Legends Of Tomorrow returns with an all-new episode December 5
