The Legends are about to get a new friend, but first, they'll have to protect her from a rogue time traveler, which, in typical Legends fashion, doesn't exactly go according to plan. Meanwhile, Stein does his best to diagnose Amaya's new condition, but it's Nate who comes up with an unorthodox solution that may solve her woes.

Watch the new promo for episode three, titled "Zari," below:

"Zari" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)

OUTLAWS - When Sara (Caity Lotz) receives a distress call from their "befriended" agent at the Time Bureau, she learns that they have been tasked with going to the future to capture a rogue time traveler. Unfortunately, the Legends make things worse by trying to protect an outlaw named Zari (Tala Ashe), to hopefully lure in the time travelling assassin. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) tries to diagnose Amaya's (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) condition, but Nate (Nick Zano) discovers an unusual treatment that Amaya begrudgingly agrees to. Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell and Franz Drameh also star. Mairzee Almas directed the episode written by James Eagan & Ray Utarnachitt (#303). Original airdate 10/24/2017.

After defeating the Legion of Doom, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow face a new existential threat created by their actions at the end of last season. By revisiting a moment in time they’d already participated in, they’ve essentially fractured the timeline and created anachronisms all across time! Our team must find a way to return all the anachronisms to their original timelines before the time stream falls apart. But before our Legends can jump back into action, Rip Hunter and his newly established Time Bureau call their methods into question and disband the team. Challenging the Time Bureau’s authority, they recruit a hacker from the future, Zari Tomaz and continue their time travelling shenanigans, while insisting that however messy their methods may be, some problems are beyond the Bureau’s capabilities. Some problems can only be fixed by Legends.

Legends Of Tomorrow features:
Brandon Routh as Dr. Ray Palmer/The Atom
Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein/Firestorm
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary
Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson/Firestorm
Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave
Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen
Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heywood/Citizen Steel
Amy Pemberton as Gideon
Tala Ashe as Zari Adrianna Tomaz
Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter
Tracy Ifeachor as Kuasa
Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold
Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk
Courtney Ford as Eleanor Darhk

Legends continues to be the most consistently fun CW show. This one was as entertaining as ever and it is good to see them start to push the main storyline of the season.

LMAO off at Bwana Beast!! His appearance was a surprise. Vixen made short work of him!

They are starting to play up the "band of misfits" stuff way too much. Having them do totally stupid things to make them look extra stupid. Not a fan of that.

@tugboy - I agree. The writers on this show treat the characters like they're brainless. Last week Wally took off his mask in front of crooks while Steel used his real name. Stupid. This week they're trying to stop time anomalies and supergenius Stein thinks that becoming Firestorm in public is safe? Stupid. Shrink tech that accidentally enlarges when you sneeze? Stupid! Nobody telling Sara that the shrink ray wears off? Stupid! And how were Jax and Ray even forced together in costume? They had plenty of chances to escape. Stupid.

@rabid - Absolutely. I don't mind them making mistakes now and then, but I feel that the writing is getting very lazy and focussed on "let's make them look as stupid as possible".

@rabid - on the flip side, I'm excited to see them bring in Isis. Hope they don't make her stupid too, it's not in her character. But, Ray Palmer and Prof Stein aren't supposed to be idiots either. So we will see...

@tugboy - I'm a big Isis fan too. I just hope they didn't make her Muslim for PC brownie points. They need to address how she can worship one god but be superpowered by a completely different one.
