The Legends are heading on their first witch hunt, but based on the first batch of promotional stills, it looks like the hunters may turn into the hunted when they discover a magical creature causing all kinds of trouble in one of the darkest times in American history. This mission will also seemingly hit home for Zari (Tala Ashe), who pledges to save a mom from an unfortunate fate.

Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Zano) and Ava (Jes Macallan) will continue their efforts to convince the Time Bureau that magic exists and their argument may or may not involve turning Ray (Brandon Routh) into a pig.

"Witch Hunt" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DL) (HDTV)

NOT YOUR TYPICAL FAIRY GODMOTHER - When the magical Time Seismograph goes off, the team finds themselves headed to the Salem witch trials. Sara (Caity Lotz) notices that Zari (Tala Ashe) is taking this case personally when she promises to save a mom, who is being accused of being a witch. However, the team quickly learns that there is a magical creature in the town creating problems they hadn't been expecting. Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Zano) and Ava (Jes Macallan) work together to try to keep their Time Bureau funding by proving to them that magic exists. Matt Ryan, Dominic Purcell and Brandon Routh also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Matthew Maala (#402). Original airdate 10/29/2018.

After defeating the demon Mallus by cuddling him to death with a giant stuffed animal named Beebo, the Legends are ready to ease off the gas. Sara and her team join Ava Sharpe and the Time Bureau to help clean up the last few remaining anachronisms. The job seems straightforward enough until Constantine arrives to inform them that, in solving one major problem, they have created another, much larger one. When the Legends let time crumble in order to release and defeat Mallus, the barrier between worlds softened. History is now infected with "Fugitives" - magical creatures from myths, fairytales, and legends. Having been expelled throughout time by people like Constantine, these Fugitives are now returning to our world in droves and making a real mess of things. As the Time Bureau is distrustful of and ill-equipped to deal with magic, the Legends must team up with everyone's favorite demonologist to set history back on track.

@KingPatel - just a heads up, FandomWire has an exclusive that CW is now developing a Superman series with Tyler Hoechlin starring and are using the Elseworld crossover not only as a backdoor pilot for Batwoman but as a backdoor pilot for a Superman series too, hence another reason why they cast Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane.

@NinnesMBC - yeah, it's by no means a done deal, just in active development they report. Doesn't mean it will get picked up or given a series order, so it could still not happen. But they fact, as they report them, that its being pursued is good news to those of us who love his portrayal of Big Blue and have desired his own series since he debuted on Supergirl.

Didn't wait much till they got into the turning the Legends into pigs. Then again there is an upcoming episode where some of them will be turned into cats.

Since it is an episode focused on Zari I expect it to stand out like the last time when she was on a loop.

Also, I reblogged this many weeks ago but the opportunity to share it never came without a Legends thread so here it goes: a summary of the story so far.

If this episode doesn't have Klarion the Witch Boy, I'll be disappointed.
