Even though its sister shows are set to kick off their respective seasons next week, we'll have to wait just a tad bit longer for the second season premiere of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, but when it does return, get ready to meet a whole new group of heroes from the DC Universe - The Justice Society of America!

The team will make their debut in episode two when the Legends make their way to a Nazi-occupied Paris and
will consist of Commander Steel, Vixen, Dr. Mid-Nite, Stargirl, Obsidian, and Hourman. Check out the official plot description for more details and keep scrolling for thirteen promotional stills below:

TEAM WORK — The Legends travel to Nazi-occupied Paris, but find themselves surrounded by the Justice Society of America (AKA JSA.) The Legends discover a time aberration that threatens the JSA, but the JSA wants nothing to do with them or their help. Nevertheless, the Legends force their way into the JSA’s mission to intercept and seize a mysterious package. Nate (Nick Zano) is desperate to prove that he should be part of the team, but he has a secret that he shares with his grandfather Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull) that might make it difficult. Ray (Brandon Routh) is so focused on impressing the JSA, he puts himself and Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) in danger. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) has stepped in as the leader with Rip (Arthur Darvill) gone, but when decisions aren’t being made Sara (Caity Lotz) seems to be the one calling the shots. Dominic Purcell and Franz Drameh also star. Michael Grossman directed the episode written by Chris Fedak & Sarah Nicole Jones (#202). Original airdate 10/20/2016.

After the defeat of the immortal villain Vandal Savage and the corrupt Time Masters who colluded with him, a new threat emerges. Dr. Nate Heywood, an unconventional and charming historian, is thrust into the action upon making a shocking discovery – the Legends are scattered throughout time.

Nate must find a way to rescue season one’s beloved team of heroes and rogues, including billionaire inventor Ray Palmer, who has created an exo-suit with the power to shrink him to miniscule size, as the Atom; Sara Lance, the White Canary, a trained assassin; Professor Martin Stein and Jefferson “Jax” Jackson, who together form the meta-human Firestorm; and Mick Rory, aka Heat Wave, a career criminal. When the Legends encounter the J.S.A in the 1940s, Amaya Jiwe, aka Vixen, joins the team. While the team reunites, a mystery looms – the fate of former captain Rip Hunter.

Legends Of Tomorrow features:
Brandon Routh as Dr. Ray Palmer/The Atom
Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein/Firestorm
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary
Arthur Darvil as Captain Rip Hunter
Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson/Firestorm

Hoping things pick up this season... Vandal Savage's run felt as though it dragged on a bit too long.

Stargirl looks good but we need to see that midriff.

Everybody else look disappointing. Dr. Midnite looks like he's going swimming. CW needs a new costume designer.

@JoeMomma29 - Ummm yes? I'm just sayin why be stingy and not go more authentic like the Minutemen? Good mask or two at least.

Was Dr. Midnite ever black in the JSA?
Viilax
Viilax - 9/30/2016, 4:20 AM
@Nightmare - He wasn't, and the change doesn't make sense if they're setting this during the 40's.

@Viilax - Why doesn't it make sense for him to be black? You do realize there were quite a few black men that fought in World War II?
