VIXEN Will Join The LEGENDS OF TOMORROW For Season 2; But Megalyn E.K. Won't Be Playing Her
DC's Legends of Tomorrow will get a new recruit for their sophomore season in the form of Vixen, but unfortunately Megalyn E.K. won't be reprising the role of Mari McCabe. More details after the jump...
Vixen is joining the Legends of Tomorrow... or at least, a version of Vixen. According to TV Insider, the DC superheroine will be joining season 2 of the CW show as a series regular, but it won't be Megalyn E.K. in the costume. Instead, the team will recruit an older incarnation of the character "who may or may not share some sort of historical tie to Mari McCabe".
This leaves the door open for E.K. - who will continue to provide the voice of Vixen in the CW Seed animated series - to make an appearance once her schedule clears up.
Casting is currently underway. Do you guys think this is a wise decision, or should they have gone with a new character altogether?
