John Cena returns as DC’s Peacemaker next month! Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced that the entire first season of Peacemaker will be available on Blu-ray and DVD beginning November 22, 2022.
The holiday release includes all eight episodes from the thrilling first season of the HBO Max original series, in addition to two brand-new featurettes that were created specifically for the home video release.
On DVD, Peacemaker: The Complete First Season can be purchased for a suggested retail price of $24.98; on Blu-ray, it can be picked up for $29.98, and both formats include a digital copy. Additionally, Peacemaker can be viewed online via streaming through HBO Max and can even be purchased to own digitally.
The show has been renewed for a second season and will explore the continuing story of the character. The series expands the world that was created for The Suicide Squad by delving into contemporary global issues through the perspective of a Super Hero/Super Villain/biggest world's douchebag. At the same time, the series brings the heart and wit of Peacemaker and the rest of the team to life.
The Peacemaker season one cast includes John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Chukwudi Iwuji, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick. James Gunn was the show's writer for all eight episodes and also directed five of them, starting with the pilot. Gunn, Peter Safran, and Matt Miller are the series' executive producers. Co-executive producer John Cena and consulting producer Stacy Littlejohn are also involved in the production of the show.
Gunn's Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company, in association with Warner Bros., are producing the animated film Peacemaker, which is based on characters from DC Comics. Television.
Running time for Peacemaker: The Complete First Season clocks in at 8 hours with 20 minutes of bonus content, including several features created exclusively for this home video release! The home video bonus features list includes:
