The guys over at That Hashtag Show have shared character descriptions for both the DC Universe Stargirl series and the final season of Fox's Gotham, as well as a casting call for a new villain that'll be joining The Flash season 5.

First up, we have a much more detailed breakdown for Courtney Whitmore, a.k.a Stargirl, as casting gets underway.

Apparently, the show is looking for 18+-year-old actress of any ethnicity to play a 15-year-old incarnation of Courtney.

"An intelligent, compassionate and athletic young woman, Courtney is witty as well as an incredible kind individual who is living a perfect teenage life in Los Angeles, California. However, her life is completely changed when her mom gets married. Because of this, Courtney is forced to leave her life in L.A. behind as she moves to Blue Valley, Nebraska with Courtney’s mom’s new husband and his family. .... when she discovers that her stepdad used to be a superhero’s sidekick, Courtney takes it upon herself to “borrow” this superhero’s cosmic staff which leads to her becoming a surprising inspiration as she leads a brand new generation of superheroes!"

Next, it looks like the final season of Fox's Gotham will be introducing Bane's father.

The character's name is Eduardo Dorrance, and he's described as a warrior with "the commitment of a tireless soldier to follow every kind of order he is given. He is intolerant to betrayal." Whoever plays Eduardo would appear in episodes 5, 6, 8 and 9.

In the comics Bane's father, a.k.a. King Snake, is actually named Edmund Dorrance, but this is almost certainly supposed to be the same character.

Finally, it looks like the villainous Rag Doll will be introduced on season 5 of The Flash.

Peter Merkel was originally a foe of Jay Garrick's in the comics, but it looks like he's going to be causing problems for Barry Allen and co. on the small screen. This take on the character is described as an "incredibly emotionally damaged criminal who has the power to bend out of shape and fit his whole body into small spaces. As he is enjoying his criminal activities, Team Flash will be challenged by the Rag Doll in shocking ways as his sick plan is revealed."

The CW is said to be looking for contortionists or dancers that can "contort their bodies in very disturbing ways" to fill this role.

So, what do you guys make of these breakdowns? Drop us a comment in the usual place.

It's a shame it's not just Bane coming to Gotham. They've got the first 4 episodes to play with a new arc. And then the last 6 to transform Bruce into Batman.

Star Girl sounds like it’s moving along fairly nicely.
Haven’t watched an episode of Gotham, but it sounds like things have been ramping greatly the last couple season, and the villain portrayals look to have gotten better.
And Ragdoll on Flash? About time! While I also don’t watch Flash, it’s cool to see another familiar face to go against the Scarlet Speedster, as I remember Ragdoll fondly from The Batman.

I thought they already introduced King Snake as Dollmaker's security guy on the island.
