In Season 7, Daenerys Targaryen has finally set sail for Westeros with her armies, dragons and new Hand of the Queen, Tyrion Lannister. Jon Snow has been named King in the North after defeating Ramsay Bolton in the Battle of the Bastards and returning Winterfell to House Stark. In King's Landing, Cersei Lannister has seized the Iron Throne by incinerating the High Sparrow, his followers and her rivals in the Sept of Baelor. But as old alliances fracture and new ones emerge, an army of dead men marches on the Wall, threatening to end the game of thrones forever.

An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.

Game of Thrones returns April 14

Behold! It's characters that look absolutely no different than what you already know!

okay, sorta joking/not joking. It is kinda cool tho to see Jaime's letting some things go, getting a bit gruffier. I figured would likely be the case, when we saw his portion of those HBO press clips his hair was much longer than usual, even if those were recorded after all production, he couldn't have kept it as short for the season.

I didn't start watching Game Of Thrones until it was just shortly before season 2 was to begin, and I'd never read the books. I went into it taking it a wee bit too literally, I thought (season 1, at least) was actually going to center around some grand tournament, an actual game being played. Not metaphorically, but very much in a practical way lol
(also the only major spoiler I already had going in was I knew Ned died at some point, because I remember people talking about it on Twitter right after it happened.. but given Sean Bean's career history, that wasn't a stretch anyway)

With any luck, Sansa finally bites it. Or at the very least stops being such a you know what.
