@Ineed

It's time for a big, philosophical debate of the century:

Is Joffrey more of an evil monster or more of a little bitch?

GO!

Charles Dance will have to replace Christopher Lee as a scary British villain with a badass voice once he passes away. A worthy successor to a 6'5, Nazi killin' badass like Christopher Lee.

@MAC I think he is more like an evil bitch

btw, Dance scares more with a twist of a smile than Lee with a frown.

Tywin is excellent but that's the actor. The character himself is shit. Little Finger owns every scene he's in too but he's not on the list... even after the Chaos is a latter speech.

Theon and Davos in the books are top tier characters too.

Tyrion stops being cool in book 5 and in the next season.
It's like George Martin realised that Tyrion is popular for his wit, so every line of dialogue that comes out of his mouth is some sort of stupid "sarcastic" one liner.

But yea, i want to see Oberyn Martel, as dorky and nerdy as he looks in the series :(

1) Tyrion
2) Tywin
3) Arya
4) Jaime
5) Jon Snow

Daenarys was never one of my favorites. Her storyline is just so boring to me, apart from the dragons. But I am looking forward to her journey finally intersecting with everyone else on Westeros (if that ever happens. Not a book-reader so no spoilers please!)

Yes, Tywin's greatness as a character is almost 100% owed to the actor...but that doesn't change a thing. I've heard he's not as defined or well-written in the books, but in the series, he owns. He's living, breathing, and 3-dimensional. His monologue to Jaime when he's cutting up that deer way back in Season 1, I believe, is one of my most favorite scenes in the entire series. Charles Dance is incredible.

In no specific order...

Tyrion
Tywin
Arya
Varys
Jaime

I did like Daearys but the way she is going... and as good as Snow is he's not good enough to beat those characters in my eyes. Joffrey is a bitch, Cersi is a bitch, Littlefinger is a smug swagbag douche and the Wildings are... Wildings. Then there's Ramsey lol. Those are the characters I despise.

@Bane

Excellent scene. There was another one of Tywin fishing and killing trout whilst talking to Pycelle... would of loved that scene to actually be included. This Charles Dance... [frick]er could unnerve me the minute he was so much twists that Tywin face into a smirk.

Yes MAC, I saw that deleted scene, it was excellent too! I especially loved how Tywin and Arya interacted in those few episodes in Season 2 at Harrenhal. Brilliant acting on both sides. When a child actress is able to hold her own against Charles freaking Dance...you know she's good. Arya brought out a whole new side of Tywin, and it was really clever for the showrunners to put those two characters together.

I actually can't believe I forgot to include Varys in my top 5! Even though Littlefinger is a conniving little douche, every scene where Varys and Littlefinger face off and play their little game against each other is amazing.
