With news on the Game of Thrones production having pretty much stopped, we now have a few pieces of concept art for the show to help keep our hunger for more game of thrones content.
Karakter Design Studio is an award winning studio based out of Berlin, Germany who have worked on a couple of projects that you may recognize: Ryse (launch title for the XBox One) and Killzone 3 and Killzone: Shadow Fall (Playstation 3 and 4 respectively). The studio has taken on the challenge of providing HBO's global hit, Game of Thrones, with the spectacular visuals since season 2 and boy have they delivered.
For the amazing work they have provided the studio has been awarded with an Emmy Award - For Outstanding Visual Effects, each of the last three seasons for Game of Thrones.

For season 4, we brought a second artist on board iin response to the show's ever increasing demand for high quality output in a very short timespan.
Robert Simon designed most of the fantastic creatures, as well as the two final episodes, which were bursting with visual effects. Additional support was given by the Karakter team in Berlin. Our efforts were rewarded with yet another Emmy Award.
Game of Thrones is currently in production for it's fifth season which is slated to release on spring of 2015.
