Take A Look At The New Costume Design For 'Arya' In GAME OF THRONES Season 5
We've actually got a few glimpses of actress Maisie Williams wearing her new duds in distant set pics, but here is some concept art which gives us a better idea of the radically different look for young Arya Stark in season 5 of Game Of Thrones
Towards the end of season one of HBO's Game Of Thrones, the character of Arya Stark had to pretend to be a boy so as to avoid being discovered as the daughter of the "treasonous" Lord Eddard. This meant a very scruffy, vagabond-like appearance for Arya, which she pretty much maintained throughout the following 4 seasons. Well, that's gonna change next year when the deadly young lady reaches Bravoos and adopts the persona of "the Cat of the Canals". EW have debuted a much more feminine look for Arya via the below concept art.
Maisie Williams is clearly happy about the change, telling the site that she loves the new look. “It’s very neutral, very plain, but clean! I have clean hair that actually moves. I had my hair braided up to these big buns and bits of jewelry and a jumper thing with a long skirt, and I came onto the set and nobody recognized me." What do you think of this dramatic new look for Arya? More at the link below.
