SOLO Actress Emilia Clarke Suggests That The GAME OF THRONES Series Finale Is Going To Be Divisive
We still haven't seen anything from next year's wildly anticipated final season of Game of Thrones, but Emilia Clarke reckons that when season 8 does eventually arrive, some fans may be disappointed...
No series finale has ever managed to satisfy everyone, but some do manage to pull off the near-impossible task of giving the majority of their fans an ending they're happy with.
Will Game of Thrones be one of 'em?
The HBO fantasy drama series is easily one of the most popular shows of all time, and the enormous weight of fan expectations means it's inevitable that events won't play out the way that some die-hard Westeros aficionados want them to - but could it wind up being more divisive than we're anticipating?
During a new interview, Solo: A Star Wars Story actress Emilia Clarke suggested that the finale is sure to split opinion. "People will scream and people will say, 'That's exactly what I wanted'," the Daenerys Targaryen star told the Herald Sun. "And some people will go, 'Huh?' – my mum, probably."
This is not the first time a Game of Thrones cast member has hinted at a highly divisive finale, so it's probably best to keep an open mind!
Tell us, how do you think the show will end?
