Robert Ford (Anthony Hopkins) may be long dead, but his fingerprints remain all over Westworld and tonight's episode delivered quite a twist as we learned that while he may be dead physically, his mind is still very much alive and living within The Cradle.

How is this possible? Well, it appears before the events of last season's farewell party, he downloaded his consciousness into one of the red host balls. Then, during the actual party, he used the drone hosts' massacre of the workers to cover up Bernard sneaking into the Cradle and uploading him into the mainframe.

I didn't think Ford would come back, after this episode I immediately realized he was too smart to simply die in the first place without a backup of some sort

Got so mad Maeve didn't use her telepathy to stop the incoming attackers and I laughed when she saw her replacement. I thought she would kill the lady out of rage but away from her daughter. 3 episodes left!

OH!! Not sure how programmed Teddy is. He seems more aware than he's letting on.
