"the Leviathan being the Russian equivalent of Hydra"

That's my only complaint so far. However, this show is great all-around. Way better than Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Glad I gave this show a chance.

From io9's interview:

"Is Leviathan a one-season villain, or are they going to keep coming back and growing more powerful?"

They handle the immediate problem… but something is still out there.

If it's the Russian equivalent of Hydra, it'd be a BIG opportunity to have a Winter Soldier cameo at some point down the line.

They possibly hinted at Namor and the Human Torch in that interview. Man, that would be awesome if that happened.

@LexHairFight I think Agent Carter is very similar to Captain America: The First Avenger in that regard (which is only fitting, I suppose). Both of them feel geared more towards folks 20, 25 and up, while most people younger than that dismiss them for being too boring or too cheesy.

I love that they went in that direction for this show though. It has so much material and so many themes that it would be a waste to water any of it down. It helps that I'm a sucker for period pieces too haha.

@0megaDaGod Couldn't agree more! The period setting helped immediately avoid the same problem that Agents of SHIELD found itself in - their setting was just so bland and generic that it didn't feel like it belonged in the same universe as the MCU, at least not without name-dropping the Avengers or the Battle of NY countless times.

But even more than that, Agent Carter really just felt like it had the same personality as those early scenes in The First Avenger. If I didn't know this takes place after the events of the movie, I could easily imagine a pre-serum Rogers walking through the scene with Bucky at his side. It's that attention to detail that really gets me invested in something.
