In just under ten days, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. return with a doozy of an episode as Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his agents attempt to rewrite the history of Marvel Television. However, it sounds like their intervention will have some seriously unexpected consequences for a particular agent.

Then, the following week, gear up for the show's landmark 100th episode, which promises to reveal the mysterious deal Phil made with Ghost Rider (Gabriel Luna) last year. We don't know much else about the hour, but Marvel has released five artwork posters, commemorating these last five years.

Check out new photos from episode eleven, titled "All the Comforts of Home," and episode twelve, titled "The Real Deal," below:

In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director (Jason O’Mara) to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack (Henry Simmons), and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. They have been trying to track down and capture Daisy (Chloe Bennet), aka Quake, who has gone rogue in an attempt to atone for sins from the past. But with the world believing that Daisy is a dangerous outlaw who has taken down banks and bridges, the new Director has no qualms about taking her down for good. Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have taken a big step forward in their relationship. But with Simmons’ new promotion as Special Advisor to the Director in Science and Technology, Fitz, as well as her former team members, finds it hard to confide in or trust her since she’s now the Director’s confidant.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. features:
Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson
Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May
Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson/Quake
Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz
Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons
Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie
Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez

If Ghost Rider is moving on from Shield then now is the time for them to give him a Netflix series.

@Nightwing1015 - Disney has made it pretty clear that there will not be any new Netflix series. New "R" rated stuff will go on Hulu. The only exception I could see would be a spin-off. For example a Misty Knight/Coleen Wang series which I think would be fun.

@Nightwing1015 - hopefully we get an R rated Ghost Rider show with Robbie on Hulu.

The 100th episode should get them their best ratings in the Season yet, no less.

2 - Deke is alive? :O How?

@cocaegelo - so after rewatching it, as he is backing away from the machine, he doesnt take his eyes off it. as he is watching it, he says sonvua bitch before raising his hands. it seems he was reacting to what the monolith piece was doing and not the impending explosion. so its possible that the piece in the machine activated and was just enough to send him through

I really wish I understood how TV airing worked in the US.

There's been the Olympics, I get that, but even without those, all the good shows start in october, air for anywhere from 6 to 13 episodes, sometimes odd numbers like 11, then it stops during Christmas for close to a month, some shows come back for 1 or 2 episodes (The Gifted), go away again, then come back a month later, then disappear again when there's 2 to 4 episodes left, and come back to end in may, where most of the rubbish we get for summer hiatus starts to air without stopping at all. Often I'm like, "Wait, no episode this week?"

No wonder Netflix is having a lot of success. Watching something you love getting interrupted every month or 2, sometimes unpredictably, is a real pain in the butt. It destroys the pacing completely.

Back on topic, AOS is back, baby!

(Or is it? Maybe it's only gonna air for 2 episodes, then go away again for 2 weeks, then come back…)

I REALLY hope they kill off Mack... He is, by far, the worst character on the show... They missed an easy opportunity to do it when he was in the Matrix...
